Summary
Direct and lead the implementation and ongoing execution of company's Lean Manufacturing initiative throughout the entire plant operation with the goal to deliver superior operating results and to further enhance our customer's total quality experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Provide active design, leadership, and advocacy of a continuous improvement culture.
- Utilizing Value Stream Mapping, develop the plant Lean strategy and corresponding rolling 6-month implementation plan that is aligned with company's overall strategic direction.
- Facilitate teams of employees engaged in lean activity planning and execution of these plans.
- Develop clearly defined deliverables for Lean in accordance with the company's scorecard system.
- Serve as the "champion" for all Lean activities, working with leadership across the business enterprise to train, communicate, standardize, sustain and facilitate the implementation of Lean.
- Build strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas across the company, including them in the improvement activities and understanding their needs.
- Identify training and develop appropriate programs to educate employees in the principles of Lean manufacturing.
- Define and lead Kaizen events and follow-up to ensure proper progress and the continuity of the lean efforts toward the optimization and removal of waste.
- Assist other locations through best practice sharing and the implementation of Lean within their operations.
- Conduct all activities and behave in a method that is strictly consistent with the Company's CITE Principals and Supporting Values while striving to help the Company achieve its Vision.
Education and/or Experience
- B.S. degree in technical field or equivalent hands-on training required.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a managerial role, preferable, Operations, Quality or Engineering. Other field will be considered based on individual accomplishments.
- Must have a demonstrated history of successfully leading and facilitating changes that involve all levels of employees with measurable results.
- Prior lean certification and experience in implementation of lean manufacturing is a strong plus, however individuals that meet the other skill requirements will receive the appropriate training in lean manufacturing.
- Applicants must be proficient in identifying areas of improvement, planning for, and leading Kaizen events, value stream mapping, single piece flow, error proofing, visual workplace, standard work, set-up reduction and be familiar with SPC and Six-Sigma implementation.
- Ability to learn new concepts and pass the knowledge along to others in classroom and practical experience.
- Proven ability to lead associates through coaching and mentoring.
- Candidates should be highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change and be adept at communicating with all levels to get everyone on board.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Track record of successful project management and team experience.
- Personal computer skills in a networked environment, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) required.
- Management style and duties must be consistent with and support 2007 Vision and CITE principles.

Welding Engineer
Location: Pacific Northwest
Salary: $75k-$90k per year with full relocation and terrific profit sharing.
Summary:
We are currently seeking a Welding Engineer for a long-term opportunity with a metal fabrication company, headquartered in the Portland area. The Welding Engineer will need to have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Welding Engineering. Candidates should come from a welding background, and hold a strong knowledge of ASME codes, and AWS D1.1 and D1.5 codes.

Equipment Maintenance Technicians - (Robotics/PLC exp.)
Location: California
Salary: $ 21 - $24 per hour
Qualifications
- Minimum education of an Associate degree in electrical, robotics, automation, electronic engineering or similar technical discipline required.
- Must possess a minimum of a 3-6 years related work experience in high-volume manufacturing, with a preference for experience in automation. Entry into this level is based on management's judgment of skills and abilities.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Robotics (REIS, FANUC), hydraulics, vacuum, PLC's (SIEMENS, BECKOFF, Allen Bradley) and RJ31B Controller.
- Must have strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills and be strong in analytical skills.
- Must be able to read schematics: Electrical and Fluid air diagrams.
- Good understanding of process control: Thermal monitoring and control, SPC background, and root cause analysis.
- Must demonstrate ability to conduct data collection and measurement activities utilizing standard and metric systems.
- Must possess excellent communications skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data-driven.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools 9 e.g., Excel, Word). A basic working knowledge of manufacturing or ERP systems and data entry and/or collection from such systems in required.
- An in-depth knowledge of problem solving methodologies and lean manufacturing concepts is required for entry into this level.
- Familiarization and experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and manufacturing safety procedures is required (e.g., lock-out / tag-out, electrical / high-voltage, reading MSDS, incident response procedures).
- Prior experience as a peer trainer for manufacturing operation certifications is preferred.
- Prior experience as a production or maintenance "lead" is highly preferred.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically able to perform some repetitive motions.
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Sr Opto-Mechanical Engineer
Location: Florida
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience with SolidWorks. Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience. A Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus. Experience in packaging design including functional and transport shock requirements and testing. Experience with product design, ideally aerospace experience.
Mechanical design of gimbals and thermal imaging systems for aerospace applications. Testing of designs for performance, vibration, and thermal. Payload dynamic response analysis of forced base inputs of vibration and shock. Selection of connectors and wiring and PCB mechanical design for tight packages.
Required Skills:
Mechanical design and electronic packaging; structural and thermal analysis; CAD solid modeling, Familiarity with bearings and geartrain design a must. Word, Excel, Power Point.
10 plus years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and practices utilized in an electronics manufacturing environment. Requires skill in computer aided design/drafting and familiarly with sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, material science, thermal analysis, drafting standards, product documentation and component qualification.

SUMMARY
Manages and directs all Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Aftermarket operations through a team of functional managers to support Airborne Power Unit (APU) and accessory production requirements.Ensures increased levels of customer satisfaction by producing on-time deliveries though the development and utilization of efficient processes and procedures.Key elements of performance measurement will include safety, quality, schedule and cost.Responsible for staffing, efficiency of manpower, materials, machine process and production related activities. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily management of Team Managers, Lead, Engineering and Administrative personnel.Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Thorough knowledge of accounting and budgeting principals necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports and meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs.

Manufacturing Manager
Location: Mesa, Arizona

Seeking Manufacaturing Manger for AZ facilities reporting to the Director of Operations.The purpose of the position is to oversee and manage the day to day manufacturing acativities.The key responsibilities will be to manage the personnel, physical plants and budget resources to produce the highest quality products.This plant is 140 employees.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Ensure all requirements are met for the introduction of new products and for improvements of existing processes and systems.
- Work within scheduling constraints, comply with quality and safety requirements and plan material delivery and use.
- Manage and respond to customer and scheduling demands to include emergency and special production requirements.
- Manage personnel to include the completion of all regulatory (PSM and RMP) and recertification training, and performance and development programs.
- Drive quality initiatives in cooperation with engineering department to improve quality, reduce cycle time, and product costs of manufacturing processes.
- Plan and communicate budget and resource requirements, provide product costing and efficiency utilizations.
- Ensure quality standards are met in operations, participate in and support quality management system, including internal and external audits.
- Member of Emergency Response Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ideal candidate MUST have a BS degree in Chemical Engineering or other technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in chemical operations with prior experience managing high purity chemical production.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
- Very strong analytical skills, problem solving and financial acumen.
- Strong understanding of SPC
