We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect / Senior Oracle EBS Developer who can execute creative strategies for growing their business.
Position summary:
Technical Architect and software developer with experience designing and developing in the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment.Design and build complex programmatic solutions for extensions to the EBS.Lead programming team in the implementation of programmatic solutions.Requires four or more years of experience using relational concepts with Oracle's SQL and PL/SQL languages and reports development using Oracle Reports 6i; experience developing interfaces,data conversion and reports using EBS data models and API's, with the ability to create full technical & functional specifications in support of the solution. Requires a minimum of one or more years of experience with Discoverer report building, including end user layer construction, XML publisher report building, Oracle Forms personalization development and Oracle Workflow extensions construction.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of experience with Oracle SQL.Basic DML and DDL. Inline views, correlated sub-queries, etc.
- 4 or more years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL – stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions.
- Understanding of FND/AOL environment –FND reports and forms publishing, etc.
- Technical design and development of Interfaces to and from EBS
- Technical design and development of data conversions to and from EBS
- Technical design and development of Reports using the Oracle Reports tool
- Understanding of Entities and Relationships, ability to design complex data models
- Ability to write a full functional and technical specification
- 1 or more years of experience building and publishing views via Discoverer Admin; security; Item class experience; BIS views.
- Experience developing and modifying XML publisher reports; RTF template construction, XSL logic, running XML publisher reports
- Performance tuning using trace and Explain plan information
- Experience with Workflow execution, workflow modification, PL/SQL event support, debugging and testing
- 1 or more years of experience with GL, AP, AR data models and APIs
- 1 or more years of experience with OM, Shipping, PO data models and APIs
- 1 or more years of experience with WIP/OSFM, ENG, BOM, Quality, COST, MRP/ASCP data models and APIs
- Migrating programmatic and manual components of a change from test to production
- Familiarity with web page construction
- Basic Unix understanding (file system, ftp, EBS file layout, simple shell scripts, environmental variables)
- Basic Java programming.JSP construction for EBS self-service modifications.
- Must be able to travel up to fifty percent in the Pacific Northwest.

Senior Oracle Applications DBA

Experienced, professional Oracle applications DBA consultant. Minimum of 3 full cycle oracle applications implementations on Windows platform. Ideally more than one applications upgrade on a windows platform as well. Strong written and verbal communications skills and an ability to communicate technical intricacies to all levels of both technical and functional clients.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- At least 2 years of experience with 9i and 10g database environments. Monitor the performance and make recommendations and fix issues/opportunities. Patch analysis, planning and implementation and tracking.
- At least two full Auto install projects. 11i required; Release 12 preferred. At least 2 years of patch analysis, planning, and implementation and tracking.
- At least 2 years of experience cloning test and production EBS environments.
- Extensive experience with Windows Server administration. Detailed knowledge of Windows memory management, 32bit limitations, kernel configuration, Win32 file system security, Active Directory integration.
- Restore / recovery and RMAN experience required. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Applications Manager.
- At least 1 year of experience, including SGA analysis, latch contention analysis, disk subsystem tuning, and SQL tuning of Oracle and custom views and queries.
- At least one full upgrade of an EBS environment from 11 to 11i or 11i to a newer release of 11i.
- 1 or more years of experience with DDL, DCL and DML.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED:
- Experience building at least one RAC high availability environment, with Dataguard.
- Shell scripting; file system security; good knowledge of the operating system and I/O.
- Experience designing and documenting hardware and server software environments for database applications.
- PL/SQL language skills.
- Knowledge of SOA & Web Services architecture.
- Experience supporting multiple production environments.

Software Engineer
Location: Vancouver, WA
Our client has an opening for a Software Engineer to join their Project Engineering Controls Group. This position is responsible for the specification, design, development, testing, deployment and support of software applications that are routinely customized to meet user requirements and project needs. Interaction and coordination with marketing, sales, electrical, mechanical, production personnel and customers will be required throughout the production cycle.
A Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience OR an Associate's degree and 5 years experience is required.
Principal Duties:
- Write high quality object-oriented Windows application code (MFC/C++/.NET) and documentation to fulfill project and customer requirements
- Maintain source code control database and customer software archive
- Become a recognized "expert" on all company automated products, software, and electrical subsystems
- Use software/systems knowledge to ensure technical/schedule feasibility of product customizations
- Test and troubleshoot software/systems during and after assembly of products
- On-site support and installation of automated control systems
- In-house and on-site customer training
- In-house and on-site customer troubleshooting support
- Participate in the development of new and improved product offerings
- Understand PLC controller interfaces and ladder logic
- Use software and electrical troubleshooting skills to track down problems
- Experience using motion control and servo drive systems
- Support older DOS based systems and software
