The company specializes in commercial, medical, light industrial and electronic industry projects in the bidder design/build, team construct, and plan/specification market. Mechanical construction capabilities include plumbing, heating, air conditioning, sheet metal fabrication, sheet metal installation, refrigeration systems, medical gas piping, high purity process piping for the electronics and food industries, and maintenance services for commercial and industrial applications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversees entire project – all aspects
• Responsible for profit & loss (not just a processor)
• Full ownership on Job- Oversee Labor, Equipment, Materials

Position Requirements:

• B.S in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Engineering
• HVAC experience
• Wet & Dry preferred
• Computer literate; intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Timberline Accts, (simple reports), Quick pen estimates and MS projects a plus

Desired Skills:

• P.E
• LEED Certified

 Project Manager - Food/Beverage Industry Experience

Our client, a local food manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager to join their organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The main role of a Project Manager is to lead and execute projects from start to finish. The candidate needs to have the ability to lead and build project teams and hold team members accountable for their deliverables on a project.Defining and putting together deliverables, building timelines, launching milestones, and working with multiple departments is required for each of the 10 –20 projects. The complexity is within keeping a number of projects that are in different stages moving in the company and recognizing the priorities of each project daily.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

·The Project Manager will be responsible for 10-20 projects at one time and the projects are spanned across multiple stages.

·The Project Manager works with their assigned Strategic Account Manager(s) – (SAM's) to move projects through the organization to meet account specific product demands, which ultimately bring in bottom line revenue.

·Manage customer samples and sales material requests by working with various departments.

POSITION CRITERIA:

Required Skills

·Lead, coordinate, and prioritize project team efforts.

·Bachelors Degree with 5+ years Professional Project Management experience in the food & beverage industry or related industry.

·Excellent written and oral communication.

Desired Skills

·Proficient at Microsoft Office.

·5+ years experience in Sales and/or Sales Support environment.

·Previous experience in planning with limited information and assessing project stages.
